The first movement of three-movement Boukas Beatles Motet performed by Cerddorion Vocal Ensemble under the direction of James John. The style is evidently "channeled Bach" as Boukas describes it- reminiscent of Bach's choral cantata writing , hence the piece's title. This movement is written for five independent voice parts. The remaining two movements are written for six parts.

As with all of Boukas' Beatles Motets, this piece is a total metamorphosis of the original Beatles melody, placed within an imitative contrapuntal texture and expanded into much broader formal dimensions.
