BOUKAS BIO

Boukas and Fuller have been performing since 2014. Their creative affinity was immediate. "Jeff is a consummate bassist and musician. His groove is so deep that you can HEAR the drummer in his playing. A brilliant soloist, his intense interaction makes for a true conversation. He takes bold rhythmic and harmonic risks so that the same piece sounds totally different with each performance."

The Duo's instrumental renditions are balanced by Boukas's Portuguese vocals and improvised scat-singing.
