A tribute to the brilliant virtuoso Garôto (1915-55), the piece is chock-full of his thematic and textural mannerisms, penchant for Jazz and Impressionist-leaning harmonies and slippery modulations. The traditional AABBACCA form is maintained, however, the harmonic scheme is a less common Dma-F#ma-Gma.
