Dilermando (1916-77) was arguably the most popular solo guitarist in Brazil between the early 1940's to the early 1970's. Clearly rooted in choro and valsa, his pieces have an inner intensity as well as in his performance. Aside from his many recordings (this being among many that he multi tracked), he had a weekly radio program on Rio de Janeiro's "Radio Nacional".
