A delicate 5/4 piece which adapts the southern Brazilian dance rhythm known as guarânia (which is usually in 3/4), this folk-like flute theme is supported by supple guitar counterpoints, bass lines and rich harmonies. The flute part could also be played by violin, mandolin, cavaquinho or requinto.
